MALAI KOFTA :

KOFTA PREPARATION :

  • Boil, drain, peel and mash potatoes – 2
  • Grate paneer 1/2 cup, cheese 1/2 cup
  • To the potato, add the grated cheese, paneer, Daniya powder-1 spoon, Cumin powder 1 spoon, Salt-1pinch, Red chilli powder-1 pinch, chopped corriander leaves 1/4 cupWP_20150930_007
  • Mix them thoroughly.
  • Make them into small balls and roll them on corn flour.
  • Shallow fry the balls and keep them aside. These are the koftas.
  • GRAVY :
  • Fry chopped onions 4, ginger, tomatoes – 4, cumin seeds 1 spoon, chilli powder, salt for a minute.WP_20150930_001
  • Then grind them into fine paste
  • In a kadai, put 1 spoon butter and add 2 cloves, 2 Elaichi, 1 bay leaf and fry for a min
  • Put the above paste and add 1/4 ltr of malai (milk creme) and let the gravy boil well for 10 min, until it thickens

  • Sprinkle 2 spoons of KASTURI METHI for nice aroma. Now the gravy is readyWP_20150930_008WP_20150930_009
  • ADD THE KOFTAS TO THE GRAVY JUST BEFORE SERVING, OTHERWISE THE KOFTAS WILL BECOME VERY SOGGY.
